7 to 184 clicks a month, and 374 calls in 6 months
Brand new site, zero paid ads. 1.57K clicks and 115K impressions over 16 months, and 374 calls from Google Search and Maps in the first half of 2026 alone, from people who needed a plumber now.
For Shopify store owners
Collections that rank, and a theme that stays fast.
Shopify SEO services fix what Shopify gets wrong out of the box and build what it leaves out, so your collections and products rank and sell. I clean up duplicate product URLs in your theme, trim apps that slow the store, write collection copy and build links, then report organic orders each month.
Shopify handles hosting and checkout well, but its default product URLs, tag pages and app scripts quietly work against your rankings. I fix those first, then build the collections and links that bring buyers.
Collections / Product URLs / Theme and Liquid / App cleanup / Speed / Product schema
Many themes link to products through /collections/name/products/name instead of the main /products/name URL. Google then finds several versions of every product, so I change the Liquid in your theme to link to one clean URL everywhere.
Collections are your category pages, and on most stores they hold a product grid and nothing else. They get a clear title, short buying copy, filters that stay out of the index and links to related collections. On any platform, category pages are where most store traffic worth having lands, which is why they come first.
Every review, upsell and popup app adds scripts, and many leave code behind after you uninstall them. I measure what each app costs in load time, remove the leftovers and delay what has to stay.
Product tag filters and variant parameters create pages Google should not index. I handle them with canonicals, noindex rules and an edited robots.txt.liquid, without breaking the filters shoppers use.
Product, review and breadcrumb schema written into the theme once, instead of two apps adding versions that conflict. The deeper speed and crawl work follows my technical SEO work process.
Clear product data and buying guides help AI tools name your store when shoppers ask what to buy. It is part of every plan through my AI SEO services.
Migrations
Replatforming from WooCommerce, Magento or a custom build is where stores lose rankings, because product and category URLs change shape. I map every old URL that ranks or sells to its new Shopify URL and set up the redirects before launch.
Keep your rankings when you move to Shopify.
REAL CLIENTS, REAL NUMBERS
No Shopify case study yet, so here are four local businesses I ranked from scratch, including a plumbing site that went from 7 to 184 clicks a month. Your store gets the same work, measured in sales instead of calls.
Brand new site, zero paid ads. 1.57K clicks and 115K impressions over 16 months, and 374 calls from Google Search and Maps in the first half of 2026 alone, from people who needed a plumber now.
Launched with nothing, no clicks, no impressions. 2.09K clicks and 86K impressions over 16 months, and 370 calls from Google Search and Maps in the first half of 2026. No ad spend.
Urgent service where whoever ranks first takes the call. Tracked in SerpFox: one term from ~90 to top 3, another from 26 to 2nd, a third from the 50s to 2nd.
My first ever SEO project, my mom's salon. Grew to 1.19K clicks and 48K impressions, reaching positions 1-2 on Google for the searches that bring in clients.
A Shopify report should show your collections and products by what they earn from organic search, using your Shopify and analytics data. It should also flag what changed in the store, like a new app or a theme update, whenever speed or rankings move.
Monthly SEO Report
Shopify, month 6Example report
| Keyword | Start | Month 6 |
|---|---|---|
| whole bean coffee subscription | #36 | #10 |
| organic decaf coffee beans | #27 | #6 |
| cold brew coffee bags | Not ranking | #11 |
Example layout with illustrative numbers. There is no Shopify case study yet, so nothing in this report is client data.
A Shopify SEO company often installs an SEO app, runs its checklist and calls it done. When you hire a Shopify SEO expert like me, the same person edits your theme, cleans up your apps and answers your questions, with no account manager in between.

Three steps, starting with the theme, because that is where most Shopify ranking problems live.
I crawl the store, read your theme code and check Search Console, then list every duplicate product URL, indexed tag page and slow app. I also look at which collections already bring orders, so you get a plan ordered by the sales behind each fix.
Then I fix the theme: product links pointing at one URL, schema written once, unused app code removed and images sized for phones. Changes go into a duplicate of your theme first, so the live store keeps selling while I test.
Then I grow what sells: collection copy, new collections where people search and you stock the products, and links from blogs and partners in your niche. Each month you see collection rankings and organic orders, plus anything a new app or theme update broke.
A few simple rules, so you know exactly what to expect. They keep the work on results, not meetings.
A short intro call, then a second call where I walk you through your audit and plan. After that, things stay simple over email, and I reply within a day.
One clear report on the same date every month: your money keyword rankings, the calls they bring and the links I built.
Work starts once I have access to your Google Business Profile and main listings. It takes about 20 minutes.
If your site holds you back, I rebuild it once around the services you want to rank for. One review round, no endless redesigns.
A simple agreement, not a 12-month contract. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice, because it has to work for both of us.
Your website, content, profiles and accounts stay in your name. If we ever stop working together, you keep all of it.

Plans start at $2,000 a month, month to month with no lock-in. A focused store with a handful of collections usually fits Starter, while large catalogs, several markets or a migration usually need Growth or Scale.

Shopify makes it easy to sell and just as easy to keep paying for traffic. Put in your numbers to see how many extra sales a month from search would cover the plan.
1. Your numbers
What one customer is worth to your store over time: the first order, the reorders and anyone they send your way.
Fill in both and your LTV updates above.
What you keep from each sale after the costs of delivering it (labor, materials, product or service costs). Leave at 100% to judge on revenue.
Out of 10 leads from search (email sign-ups, quote requests, contact forms), how many end up buying?
Nobody can promise an exact number, and keyword tools miss a lot of long product searches. Try a few. I will give you a realistic range on the intro call.

2. What it is worth
0Extra leads / month to break even
That is all it takes for SEO to pay for itself. Could Google bring you that many more a month?
If SEO brings 0 leads a month
0% return on the plan
Want a second opinion? I will check these numbers with you on the intro call, honestly.
An estimate from your own numbers, not a promise of results. SEO usually takes 4 to 12 months to build up.
The questions Shopify store owners ask before hiring for SEO.
Most SEO services cost from $1,500 to $10,000+ a month, depending on the store and how competitive your products are. My plans start at $2,000 a month, month to month, with AI SEO included.
No, but it has habits you need to manage: fixed URL folders like /products/ and /collections/, duplicate product paths in many themes, tag pages and app scripts. Handled properly, Shopify stores rank well.
Not usually. Most of what SEO apps do, like titles, descriptions and schema, can be handled in the theme and the admin, and every extra app adds weight to your pages. I keep only the ones that earn their place.
Theme fixes are often done in the first month or two. Organic rankings commonly take 4 to 6 months or more, sooner for collections already close to page one.
The plan moves with you. Category pages, product data and links work the same on any platform, which is the core of my ecommerce SEO consultant work, and stores moving to WordPress get SEO for WooCommerce with redirects planned before launch.
No. Nobody controls Google, and anyone who guarantees rankings is guessing. I can promise the work is done properly by me, and that the report shows organic orders, not just traffic.
