My first SEO client was my mom – unpaid, obviously.
I wanted to learn SEO, and her hair salon needed more clients, so it was the obvious place to start. The rest followed from there.
Now I take on businesses worldwide. I’ve worked across dozens of sites – enough to know what actually moves rankings and what’s just busywork. My freelance roster stays small by design: a few clients, properly done. Outside of that, I’m a BJJ black belt – much like SEO, you either know your craft or you get exposed.
